I ran into Food 4 Less today to check on milk and egg pricing and to grab a sale paper.  I noticed they had Trop 50 in the buy 10 get $5.00 back promotion.  You can print a $1.00/1 from the trop50 facebook page which will make for a nice price on orange juice $1.00.

Todays Dominick's Shopping Trip

I wanted to use my $3.00/3 SS 1/8/12 Nabisco coupon, because it expired today, but couldn't remember where I had seen the sale for $1.00 each on the small cannisters of Honey Grahams. I thought it was Jewel, but I was pressed for time and still needed to go to Dominick's for milk $1.97, Just for You pricing and the Ken's Salad Dressing 2/$3.00 $1.00/1 SS 1/8/2012. I went in through the beautiful produce department and there were the cannisters of Nabisco Honey Grahams for $1.00 each. I bought 12 of them. Check out was a breeze, none of the coupons beeped and the cashier even commented on my use of coupons.

12 cannisters of Nabisco Honey Grahams $12.00
1-Gallon of Milk $1.97

My price before coupons was $21.47, but with coupons I paid $4.95 a 85% savings.

Seattle's Best Coffee

Dominick's will have Seattle's Best coffee 12oz bags on sale Monday, January 30, 2012 for $5.00. 

Print this coupon now $1.50 off 1 pack of Seattle's Best.  The coupon says redeem at Food 4 Less, but it is a manufacture's coupon and can be redeemed at any retailer.  There is also one for $1.00/1 on their Facebook page.

$3.50 per bag makes for some cheap coffee snob coffee.  That's me...I'm stocking up on this one.

O.K., I know I push it when I say a $2.00 or $3.00 purchase constitutes paying with change, but I always have a lot of quarters in my purse. Paying with Change January 8, 2012

I shop several times a week and I love to play paying with change.  I usually only do this if the total is less than $2.00.  I pull out my change purse and pay from that instead of my wallet.


Today I headed to Walgreens and only wanted a couple of things.  The reach dental floss $2.99 and the listerene mouthwash $3.99.  I had printed a coupon for the listerine $1.00 off and the reach dental floss $1.00 off before I left.

I payed for the dental floss first and used the $1.00 off coupon, the total was $2.03.  I received a $2.00 register reward for this transaction.  My next transaction was for the listerine mouthwash; I also had a coupon for this, but needed another item so I could use 2 coupons for the transaction (one manufacturer and one register reward) I added a nestle crunch bar for 39 cents.  I handed over my coupons and paid $1.77.
